PEDIATRIC ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT

***Note: Pre-course work and 2020 PALS Book are required. You will not be able to attend the course without proof of completion and E-book or Paper book.*** 

Please follow the instructions below to do your Pre-course assessment and Pre-course work and have access to all the study material. This is a new process for PALS that has just recently changed with the roll out of the most current AHA Guidelines. This process will look different than any previous PALS course you may have had. Now, the videos will be viewed prior to class through the above link and you will have more time in class for hands-on skills. The Pre-course work can take anywhere from 2-4 hours to complete. Only payment secures your seat.


Use the following steps to access the Student Resources:

1.    Visit elearning.heart.org/courses.

2.    Find the course name: 2020 PALS PRE-COURSE SELF-ASSESSMENT AND PRE-COURSE WORK 

3.    Once you find your course, select Launch Course to begin.

4.    Email your certificate to traumanurse66@yahoo.com 

The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Course combines didactic lecture and discussion, videos, case scenario discussions and simulations, and interactive skills stations to enhance skills in recognition and intervention for respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest.

The PALS provider course is designed for healthcare professionals who manage respiratory and/or cardiovascular emergencies and cardiopulmonary arrest in pediatric patients. 

Course Fees:

  • HeartCode PALS: $95
