HEARTSAVER INSTRUCTOR ESSENTIALS COURSE

The AHA Heartsaver Instructor Essentials Course is taught in a blended learning format. For successful completion, instructor candidates must complete course prerequisites and requirements:

• Current AHA  Heartsaver Provider

• Complete the AHA Heartsaver Instructor Essentials Online Course

• Print the completion certificate from the online course and bring it with you to the classroom session.

• Attend the in-person hands-on classroom session

• Be monitored teaching in an AHA Heartsaver Provider Course by an AHA Training Faculty member within 6 months of taking the instructor course.

• Be aligned with a Training Center
